Almost Ancestors Awarded BEST OF THE FEST out of 100 Films

We are thrilled to announce that Almost Ancestors received the highest honor at the Show Low Film Festival- Arizona White Mountains Film Festival. A panel of over 25 judges voted Almost Ancestors the "Fest's Best," to quote the festival's Board, the Fest's Best is the "2023 Show Low Film Festival Overall Best in All Departments." 

Receiving the award as the best of the festival is an incredible achievement and honor. The festival screened 100 official selections spanning the artistic and technical spectrum. Movie industry executives and producers descended on Arizona's White Mountains for the festival, and a packed house was in attendance to see director Brišind receive the trophy at the awards ceremony. 

The quality of the top ten films was reflected in the near-perfect scores, reflecting the quality of films accepted into the festival. Show Low Film Festival- Arizona White Mountains Film Festival has become a significant draw on the fall festival calendar, with not only US film and music video entries but also quality international submissions.
